Rifle Voter Service and Polling Center (VSPC) moved to Garfield County Administration Building D
For the upcoming June 25, Primary Election, Garfield County’s voter service and polling center (VSPC) in Rifle has been moved to the county administration building D, located at 195 W. 14th Street. The VSPC is open for early voting from June 17 – 24 (Mon. – Fri.: 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Sat. 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.; closed on Sunday). On Primary Election Day, June 25, the VSPC is open from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
June 25 Primary Election information
Ballots are being mailed out to all eligible voters beginning June 4. Voters can return their ballots by mail, via 24/7 drop box, or in person at one of the Garfield County voting centers. Ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on Primary Election day to be counted.
Check your voter registration – To ensure you receive your ballot at your current address, please check that your residential and mailing addresses are correct at govotecolorado.

Know what’s on the ballot – Democratic and Republican primary ballots will have candidates for federal, state, and county offices. The winners of these contests will appear on the ballot for the general election in November. Sample ballots can be found below.
Unaffiliated voter remember – Unaffiliated voters will receive one Democratic ballot and one Republican ballot. Choose one ballot to vote and return and dispose of the unused ballot. If two voted ballots are returned neither ballot will count.
Key dates and deadlines
Early voting – begins on Monday, June 17, at voting centers in Glenwood Springs and Rifle.
Last day to affiliate – The last day to affiliate with a political party before the June election is June 3.
Last day to change your address – the last day to change your address and still have a ballot mailed to you is June 17.
Last day to cure your signature – The last day to cure a signature discrepancy is July 3.

Logic and Accuracy Testing for June 25 Primary Mail Ballot Election
A public Logic and Accuracy Test of Garfield County’s voting equipment took place on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, in Room 101B of the Garfield County Courthouse.
Other information
The Garfield County Clerk’s office assists some of the local municipalities and special districts with their elections but does not conduct the election. If you have questions specific to these elections, please call the municipality or special district directly.
As of July 1, 2020, anyone who applies for issuance, renewal, or correction of a Colorado driver’s license or identification card and who provides documentation of citizenship, is automatically registered (or pre-registered for those under 18 years of age) to vote. For individuals already registered, their existing voter registration is updated to match the information on their driver’s license.
